DelayRepay ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Useful for Humans. This policy explains how we handle your data.
When you create an account, we collect your email address (for authentication and transactional emails), your commute details (stations, usual travel times), and your ticket price if provided (to calculate compensation). We also collect anonymous usage data to improve the service.
We use your data to monitor train services on your route for delays, send you delay alerts and daily briefings, calculate compensation you may be owed, and send weekly commute reports. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
We use the following services: Supabase (authentication and data storage), National Rail / Darwin (real-time train data), Stripe (payment processing — we never store card details), Resend (transactional email), Google Sign-In (optional authentication), and Netlify (hosting).
Your data is stored securely on servers in Europe. Authentication data is managed by Supabase. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
We use browser local storage to save your preferences and session. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
You can view your data at any time in the app settings, delete your account and all associated data by contacting us, export your claim history from the app, and opt out of emails by contacting us.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated data may be retained for service improvement.
DelayRepay is not intended for use by anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
